Sermon Title: A message from Jeremiah
Date: 14/12/25
Preacher: Chris - Chaplain at Endeavour Lutheran College
Text: Jeremiah 29:1-14
Summary: As in the days of Jeremiah, the world, our world, is experiencing profound change that can be unsettling. How should we respond to change, Jeremiah's message to the children of Israel who were experiencing 70 years of exile in Babylon was to not withdraw from life but to use their new situation to advantage, to engage with the new world around them and to find ways to demonstrate God's love and forgiveness. This message is very pertinent for the church and to us as individuals today.

Sermon Title: Thanks
Date: 12/10/25
Preacher: SA-NT District Bishop Andrew Brook
Text: Luke 17:11-19
Summary: The Bible reading on which this sermon is based describes the event where Jesus responded to a request of a group of people with the dreaded disease of leprosy by commanding that they show themselves to the priest, upon which they were miraculously healed. But the main point of this account is not so much the healing, but how those people then responded - only one of them returning to praise God and thank Jesus. Do you thank God in recognition of all he does for you, even though you don't deserve it?
