Baptism

Through baptism, God pours out his unconditional love on us and connects us to all the blessings of Jesus’ life, death and resurrection. All people are born dead in sin and need the “washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit” (Titus 3:5) that God gives in baptism. Through baptism we set out on the life-long journey of being a follower of Jesus.

Baptisms take place during regular Sunday worship services, because through baptism children, young people and adults are welcomed into the community of those who have been baptised. Here at St Paul we rejoice in welcoming those who have been baptised into the life of this faith community.
