What is Godly Play?
Children have the opportunity to go up to our Godly Play Room during our 10.00am Service.
Children first hear a message from a member of the congregation, then they are led upstairs to the Godly Play room. Here the children experience a beautifully crafted story from our team of storytellers and spend some time wondering what God may be trying to share with us about this story. Then they spend time either in creative response with a wide array of materials which can encourage them to think more deeply about the story or sharing a feast within the community. After prayers and a blessing the children return for the end of the service or to share communion with their families.
All people involved in ministry to children at St Paul are trained in Child Safe and have a current working with children police check.
Please assist us in this mission by considering undergoing this training to make our church as welcoming as possible for children and families.
